A TYPICAL DAY:
We meet you in the car park where we’ll sign in your child and check if any additional information is required. We will then make our way to the base camp, where the children will leave all their bags in the bell tent. We then play some fun games and split the children into age ranged groups, the children can be in whichever group they want to be with their older/younger friends/siblings. The instructors will stay with the group for the day, exploring the clamber nets, rope bridges, trampoline and tree swings as we explore the woods and move from activity to activity. There will be water and toilet breaks throughout the day and hand washing before lunch break.
Lunch: All groups eat lunch together with their friends and instructors at the camp area, which is equipped with tents and shelters.
Home time: We meet you back in the car park to the person named on the register, so please inform us if someone else will be picking up your child.
Staff: All our staff are DBS checked, we are fully insured and we have first aid trained instructors at every club.

WHAT WE DO? Every day is different, each day is themed and starts with fun team building games, we then split into smaller groups for the specific activities throughout the day – strategic games, adventures in the stream/on equipment spread throughout the woods, learning new skills and making new friends. There is also time for them to explore and choose their own adventure, always under guidance from the instructors. The outdoor environment inspires children to grow in confidence, independence and social skills.
Please check the activities planned for the day, prior to booking and that it’s a good fit for your child to get the most out of the day. Once with us they will be expected and encouraged to participate in the planned activity for that day.
Behaviour: We aim to create a positive environment for the children and we promote respect, team work and positive relationships. We want all the children to enjoy themselves, having fun and making new friends and as time is limited disruptive behaviour will not be tolerated. Disruptive children will receive warnings and then be asked to sit out for 2 minutes. If the behaviour is consistent then we will speak to the parents at the end of the session.
We ask for your support to help resolve negative behaviour, we can then maintain a fun and safe environment for all the children.
